Wooden wick Candle tips

The following guidelines & Candle tips will help you get the most enjoyment from your new candle:

  • You DO NOT have to reach a full melt pool on your first burn! Coconut based wax performs a little different than soy based.  It is OK if wax is caught up on the sides as it will eventually catch up as the candle burns.
  • like traditional cotton wicks, wooden wicks need to be trimmed before each burn. Be sure to remove the top burned or ash section along the top of the wooden wick with either a candle trimmer or with a paper towel or fingers.
  • When burning your candle for longer periods and the flame is too low, simply extinguish, let cool, remove any excess ash from the wick and re-light.
  • If your wick extinguishes itself when lighting, just re-light.
  • Never let your candle burn all the way down as the vessel can become too and potentially break or shatter.
  • Let your candle cool completely before handling.
  • Take the time to enjoy your new candle, let the aroma transport you to a peaceful & relaxing place.
